The Kyrene Governing Board is providing time for community input before making any decisions on school closures. Six regional hearings will be held across the district for families, staff, and community members to share their perspectives on the proposed plan.

Kyrene de la Mariposa families will be present to highlight the school’s five-time A+ designation and its record of academic excellence, equity, and stability for students. These hearings are an important opportunity to demonstrate how keeping Mariposa open aligns with the Long-Range Planning Guiding Principles and supports Kyrene’s mission of retaining and attracting students.
