We’re excited to invite all Mariposa families, staff, and supporters to join us on Slack — our new communication hub for the Mariposa Together campaign to keep our school open and thriving.
🦋 What is Slack?
Slack is an easy-to-use group communication tool that keeps everything organized in one place — kind of like a private social network just for our campaign. Instead of long email threads or lost text chains, Slack lets us:
Share updates and announcements instantly
Post files, data, and talking points for quick access
Have focused discussions by topic (called channels)
Stay connected across teams — even when life gets busy!
💡 How to Use Slack
Once you join, you’ll see a list of channels on the left side of the screen. Each channel is a space for a specific topic — like events, outreach, communications, or community updates.
Here are a few quick tips to get started:
Join a few key channels to stay in the loop — look for ones like #general, #updates, or #community-actions.
Say hello! Introduce yourself in the general channel so others know you’ve joined.
Turn on notifications for important updates, or check Slack on your phone or computer anytime.
Share resources — if you have data, ideas, or helpful links, this is the perfect place to post them.
💛 Why Slack Matters
Our campaign is moving fast — and staying connected makes all the difference. With Slack, we can coordinate efforts, share accurate information, and keep everyone’s voice heard in one central, transparent space.
Let’s make it easy for every Mariposa family and supporter to stay informed and take action together. Join today and help us keep the Mariposa spirit strong — together!
